Terri Ford
- Powerskating and Edgework Instructor
Terri started her skating career at the age of 9. Moving from Michigan, her grandma signed her up to learn to skate when her cousins and brother were playing hockey. Coming from an extensive hockey family, her dad playing pro hockey in the then IHL, her cousin playing junior hockey and her brother playing Junior and then on to US college hockey, there was no choice but to love hockey! Terri dabbled in power skating here and there through her career while coaching figure skating full time but when her son started to play she quickly realized that these kids really didn’t have a huge focus on the fundamental part of skating or have the ability to really build on that. Terri decided to leave figure skating behind and follow her passion and love of working exclusively with hockey players. Terri works the majority with the higher level hockey players, such as Junior, OHL, NCAA, helping them to reach and attain their goals. There is nothing Terri loves more than to rally behind these players, build their confidence and get them to the next level and beyond in their skating.
